The Jones Center galleries are wheelchair accessible and allow service animals. Accessible seating is available at every performing arts venue in Texas. When purchasing ADA seats online, select the icon below the filing date to view the ADA seats. Our performance venues are accessible facilities and customers with disabilities or who need accessible seats are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance and notify us if they need special assistance or accommodations.
The Long Center is wheelchair accessible in the Dell Hall, the Rollins Studio Theater, and throughout the Long Center building and terrace, including all bathrooms. Wheelchair assistance is available on the sidewalk if requested. Sidewalk cuts allow easy access to our sidewalk system and access ramps to the parking area. The main entrance doors have an automated mechanical service.
The Dell Hall and other interior spaces have elevators that service all levels of the facility. Complimentary wheelchairs are available by calling ahead. Users who do not normally use a wheelchair are strongly encouraged to bring a companion to help them maneuver through public areas of the Long Center. Signposted parking is available in the Palmer Events Center parking lot on all levels, located near the elevators.
All tickets and subscriptions are non-refundable, but refunds are granted in case of cancellation of an event. Tickets can be exchanged for another event, if available, up to 48 hours before the event you have tickets for. If you can't attend your event, you can also donate the value of your tickets to the Lafon Arts Center up to 2 hours before showtime. All group discounts are for tickets to the same function; call the box office at 985-331-3670 to get your group discount.
For performances taking place at the Shell and Black Box theaters, spectators can pick up Will Call tickets at the box office with the label “Will Call”. The Lafon Arts Center box office is the only agent authorized to sell tickets for Lafon Arts Center events; buying tickets through a secondary site or from any other vendor is at your own risk. In case of cancellation and refunds, only tickets purchased through the Lafon Arts Center (online or in person) will be accepted. The Long Center Performing Arts Center offers seats with removable armrests, assistive listening devices and audio description, and interpretation in American Sign Language, upon request.
